What do the status codes mean?
| HLR Status Code | Temporary or Permanent | Description |
|---|---|---|
| OK | Both | This is a valid number and is active. |
| Absent Subscriber SM | Temporary | The recipient’s mobile number is currently turned off. |
| Call Barred | Temporary | The end user’s mobile is currently not accepting SMSs |
| Facility not supported | Both | GSM device such as a 3G dongle that doesn’t support SMSs |
| SMS service isn’t provisioned in the VPLMN, which means that they’re roaming. | ||
| Teleservice not provisioned | Both | The number, or sim, doesn’t currently have a network attached to it. |
| Subscribers equipment doesn’t allow receiving of SMS, e.g. dongles | ||
| Unknown Subscriber | Both | This number has not been used or turned on in a handset for some time and the owning network has flagged it as unknown. |
